Crochet Rainbow Square Blanket

If you follow me on Instagram, then you already have seen photos of this completed crochet project a few weeks back. I absolutely loved crocheting this blanket. I didn't really set out to make a rainbow color palette, but it just sort of worked out that way. The colors remind me of Candy Stripe gum, or the colors of a summer carnival. I think it would be just perfect for a nursery.

If you're interested in the patterns that I used for this blanket, you can find them below.

Squares: The Purl Bee

Square Borders: 3 DC in every third stitch around the square

Joining: SC

Blanket Border: DC in every stitch around, then SC in every stitch around, then picot edging (just youtube "picot edging crochet" if you don't know how to do it - it's super easy)
