I'm Writing An E-Book!
After toying around with the idea of writing an e-book for the last year or so (the procrastination is real), I finally got serious about it, chose a topic, and started writing. I've been working on it every morning for quite a while now, and I expect my first ever e-book to be completed in the next few weeks (official date is TBD).
My inspiration for writing this book was actually the consulting sessions that I did with subscribers from my Youtube channel who were struggling with their Etsy shops. 95% of the consulting sessions went the same way: the client had a beautiful, quality product but potential customers weren't finding it because the client had almost no knowledge about online marketing, and didn't want to invest a lot of money into advertising.
Since I majored in marketing in school, worked in social media marketing before starting my business, and grew Charm & Gumption with little to no marketing budget, I feel like I have a lot of info to share on the topic (more than I could possibly compile into a single blog post or Youtube video), and I'm excited to hopefully help a lot of people.
The book will be targeted mostly at online shop owners, but a lot of the info will be relevant for pretty much any small business owner. In addition to just chapters of reading, there will also be helpful worksheets and pictures to make things really clear for people with limited knowledge in tech stuff like social media.
You better believe I'll be announcing its release here, on Youtube, social media, and basically screaming it from the rooftops when it's complete, but if you want to make sure you don't miss any important info (like I'm considering having a pre-sale, which would enable you to get the book for a limited-time discount), then be sure to sign up for this email list: http://eepurl.com/btmNcX
So anyway, that's what will be keeping me (very) busy for the next few weeks. I would love to get your feedback on a price-point that you find ideal when shopping for an e-book. I've never sold one before, so pricing it is kinda tricky. Based on the amount of info in the book, and other similar books that I've seen online, I was thinking somewhere in the $20ish area. Let me know what you think in the comments!
