Spring Health + Fitness Faves
Spring is the season when everything comes to life again after months of basically just being cold and crappy looking...including me!
So after a few months of taking it easy on the workout front ("it's too cold to go to the gym, I'll just sit under this warm blanket") and on the diet front ("I need these freshly baked cookies for WARMTH"), the sun is finally out again and it's time to get my act together. Who's with me?
Here are some things that I have been loving lately in getting back into shape for summer and just feeling a little more energized and alive:
This is an awesome Youtube channel that I just recently discovered. They have tons of different types of workouts for every fitness level, and I love that I can just go to the living room and squeeze in a workout on busy days. Check out their channel here.
Since I finally quit caffeine, I've been drinking this kind of decaf coffee which I make in our Keurig. I never thought I would be one of those people who drink coffee just for the taste, but addiction is real, yo.
Honest Fizz Soda
Around these parts, we call it by its proper name POP but whatever you call it, sometimes you just need that cold fizziness, especially as the weather gets warmer. Honest Fizz is organic, calorie free, and sweetened with Stevia. Plus it tastes really good. I like the root beer and Professor Fizz (Dr. Pepper) flavors the best. Mmm, refreshing!
I've never been much of a tea drinker, but I find that this tea is a nice way to end the day. Supposedly mint teas help with digestion, and more importantly I find that I enjoy the taste of these much more than any other tea that I've tried.
Salmon + Veggies
I have yet to find a meal that as equally healthy and satisfying as salmon with veggies and maybe a sweet potato. Wes and I both love it, and we have this at least once a week! Pro tip: get the steamable frozen veggies that you just put in the microwave. Lazy cooking for the win!

Get Fit Printable Planner Sheets
Based off of my really popular "Get Fit" notepads, these planner sheets are a more budget-friendly option (only 5 bucks) that you only need to purchase once and you can print them as many times as you want. I designed these based on the way that I like to organize my daily food journal / health, so there are spaces for all of your meals, your exercise, how much water you drink, your emotions, and your daily inspiration.
